This AFTRS Media Lab Learning Resource provides a practical introduction to stop motion animation. Using worksheets and suggested activities, students are guided through the history of stop motion, character development, use of a range of creative materials (paper, food, toys, clay, bodies, etc.) and technical tips. Short videos illustrate a wide range of stop motion films across a variety of subject matter.
