This AFTRS Media Lab Learning Resource provides a practical introduction to writing a script for a live short action drama film. Using worksheets and suggested activities students are guided through character development, narrative arcs, storyboards and audience engagement. Sample scripts are also provided. Once scripts are completed, teachers can use the Filmmaking Learning Resource to guide students through the film-making process.
